Delays, Confounded Delays!

We appreciate the patience that the Steingard's loyal readers have shown over the last couple weeks. Since launching our mission into the Americas, we have been besought by nothing but cajoling and threats from not only our superiors, but also our own consciences. While the strong-arm of the miltary have forced us underground, denying our access to important documents and necessary interconnectivity, we have also been plagued by a more sinister demon, that of intellectual complacency.

The Steingard is not an "easy" paper, and in its over one-hundred year history, we have never settled for anything except the most audacious methods of communication and experimental rhetoric. Having said that, recent years have seen us forge an ill-advised descent down the treacherous incline of trying to be all things to all people. The staff largely agrees that we have been weak-kneed in our mission, and will now redouble our efforts to provide you the Truth, regardless of what the advertisers might think.

The Steingard, afterall, is a Paper of the People, not the Riff Raff!
